Shirt: Quite a bit to take in here. Off white with teal coconut tree scenes and rock bands. Yellow sunsets painted like stage lights and the sea painted like pedestrian crossings. Mossimo logo also features. Doubled over spine and divided, button down pocket two really nice touches. Cotton polyester. A very tight medium sees me flexing in it unnecessarily. Made in China. One of the best constructed garments in the collection.

Shirt: A second entry from Stolen Pig from Fiji. Chaotic light and dark blue background with beige and brown clams and murex shells. Unmatched pocket. Whatever was sewn into the collar has gone off, making it stiff and unruly. Light and almost see-through.

Shirt: Dark and light blue batik effect with tan and light brown leaves. Beautifully hidden buttons (which is interesting as they are holographic) and hidden pocket with logo tag. SCP Jeans brand in size L but sadly no other details. Reinforced collar. A high quality sew and a credit to the good people at SCP.

Shirt: Glorious green with dark green traditional stencils of flowers and leaves. Let’s not forget the row blue and purple parrots, themselves wearing Hawaiian shirts and swinging guitars, drinks and first prize cups. This is all on a backdrop of surfboards and blue coconut trees. Really, there’s just a bit too much going on here. Lowes brand. Made in China of polyester, size L. Magically pattern-matched across the middle. Imitation cork buttons. Just about as good as it gets. Wow.

Shirt: Black with grey leaves and blue hibiscus. Beautifully lined black fabric. Midnight Express brand. Size M. Unmatched pocket. A really nice, understated garment. One I can’t wait to wear to work on Friday.

Shirt: Black with subtle palm fronds, highlighted with light brown, beige and yellow lilies, bird of paradise and tropical leaves. Smaller version on sleeves. Marvellously pattern-matched pocket. Seems to be a souvenir of Denarau Island with the slogan ‘Take home your treasured memories’ printed on the label. I’m sure some people take home more than that. Made in Fiji. Size L. Classy.

Shirt: Blue with olive leaves and various woody style surf wagons and long boards. Origin brand. Made in China. Size M, but a big M. Polyester with a warning on the tag to line dry ‘without delay’. What could go wrong?

Shirt: I can’t get enough of these thick, textured, table-cloth like fabrics. This one in green, dark orange and brown with white hibiscus. Also features turtles, flowers and traditional shapes. Made in Fiji by ‘Stolen Pig’. Definitely one to wear to work. And that brings up 250. Onwards we go.
