Shirt: Blue with simple stencilled flowers and leaves in off-white and the occasional light blue. Easystreet brand. Made in India. 100% cotton. Unmatched pocket. Shoulders are curiously, particularly faded like the previous owner spent a lot of time outside with their back to the sun. Perhaps if you were the previous owner you could enlighten us. Get in touch.

Shirt: White with vertical columns of palm trees and red hibiscus bunches with large coconuts. ‘More’ brand. Made in China of polyester. Slightly oversized. No pocket. Received mainly positive reviews from the office last Friday. Features some of the worst sewing and poor finishing in the collection.

Shirt: Beige with large traditional patterns including turtles. Curiously has ‘Vanuatu’ stitched boldly into the pocket. Very cool, original design.

Shirt: Well worn by its previous, proud owner. Light blue background with blue and dark blue shapes that resemble angel fish, leaves and flowers. Simple yet fantastic. Malihini brand of Hawaii.

Shirt: Guess by Georges Marciano. Made in the USA. Size M. 100% viscose. Leafy green background gives way to orange and while swirls, purple leaf shapes and various pink, black and orange shapes. Certainly unlike anything else in the collection and that’s why it’s in the collection. Could potentially go well with matching bottoms.

Shirt: Almost neon red and orange sky, volcanic islands and huge waves with a windsurfer and yacht on a black background. ‘Aloha’ and ‘Hawaii’ written here and there. Winnie Fashion brand. 100% polyester, made in Hawaii. Matched pocket. Thin plastic feel made up for by the amazing look. You can count on the cashier raising their eyebrows as the ring up a garment like this. You always get a question about parties. If there’s any hesitation about whether this would be suitable for the office on a Friday then the answer must be ‘yes’.

Shirt: Mysterious untagged garment with many dark colours I don’t know the name of. Possibly dark and light brown. Distinctive pattern but difficult to describe. Perhaps a visitor could provide some enlightenment.

Shirt: Smash brand and as they say on the label, ‘It’s all about attitude’. Size S. No other details. Another example of thick material with simple symmetrical patterns that look fantastic. Very distinctive. This one being orange and black with some white. Terribly tight. May come back into the main wardrobe when I work off my Christmas holidays or get sick.
