Shirt: One of my favourites. Teal with large clutches of leaves, white flowers and a Bird of Paradise flower in each. Hawaiian Reserve Collection. 100% Rayon. Made in Hawaii. Size S. Will be a perfect fit after I do some exercise. Really comfortable.

Shirt: Mysteriously unlabelled shirt. Light blue with large bunches of green leaves and blue berry-like flowers. Thick material – it took the second hand store five goes to staple in the sale tag. Unusual design makes this rewarding to wear.

Shirt: Black with columns of stencil hibiscus and other leaves in white. Grey borders on just the hibiscus flowers is a cool touch. Heat Wave brand. Size M. Label hangs down on strange flap of material from the collar. Wildly stitched and unmatched front pocket. 100% polyester.

Printed with various logos and traditional designs but also a thickly hand-painted Papua New Guinea flag across the front. Black collar. Wootex brand. Size 18. Front pocket with proud logo. Label includes manufacturer’s fax number (675) 325-8415. Seem to recall this being given to me by a work colleague.

Shirt: Plain dark blue but amazing hand-painted neon beach scene with coconut trees, volcanic peak and canoe on the back with ‘Western Samoa’ signed underneath. Too afraid to wash in case paint comes off. Size 46. Label looks like ‘Aun and An Boutique’ brand. No other details.

Shirt: Dark blue with white striped squares underneath teal leaves and a range of smiling, red and white tribal face masks. Outer relatively new but the label has been washed clean. No details. Gave off highly suspect odour when ironed. Terrible fit.
