Shirt: Mysterious untagged silky garment with an olive background with fine branch pattern and large stylised turtles across the chest. Ruined by a terrible matched pocket. Sleeves, collar, shoulders and waist features symmetrical patterns. An awkward fit made good by its coolness.

Shirt: Mainly black with large white and beige tropical branches. Kai-Veikau brand of Fiji. Size M. Unmatched pocket but with a nice tag. 100% cotton. Reinforced collar tips always a nice touch.

Shirt: Super unusual white number with strange horizontally textured white fabric, but then a standard fabric for the centre holding the buttons and holes. Yellow stripe sewn into collar. Mind Bridge brand, made in China. Size 100cm. Splashed with messy simple drawings of flowers with either a green scribble or bold blue sponge effect behind them.

Shirt: A row of questionable Hawaiian beer bottles dominates a blurred background with interesting hibiscus flowers given sharp edges. Urban Streetwear brand. Made in China. Size M. Polyester. Not a great feel and suffers from an unfortunately high static factor.

Shirt: Dark green and brown. Tribal Origin brand (Since 1970). Size L. Unmatched pocket. Designed and made in Fiji. Features large traditional spiral shapes, often with spirals within them and the odd flower. Not the greatest sewing job going, but it’s hard to tell with this pattern.

Shirt: Simply one of the best, ever. Marvellous soft fabric. Amazing sunsets with traditional thatched huts, canoes, topless dancers while others weave. Lush coconut stands on small islands and beaches. Made in New Zealand by Chukka for their Gold Line range. Size OS. Pocket sadly unmatched but what an absolute cracker.

Shirt: Takes light and silky a bit too far, feeling see-through and flammable. Interesting collection of shapes that could be just about anything on a dark blue background. Made by the Sonic Clothing Company. Designed in Australia and made in China of polyester/cotton. Light, but just a bit too breezy.

Shirt: Grey tropical palm fronds in all directions. Designed in Australia and made in Bangladesh for Kmart Australia. Cotton. Unmatched pocket. Collar buttons down in three places which is a fine touch in an otherwise average garment. Claims to be size XL.
